TF1230 Accelerator - Amiga 1200

TF1230 Accelerator for Amiga 1200 computers.


On-a-budget accelerator card for the A1200, featuring a Motorola 68030 CPU running at 50Mhz, 64MB fast RAM and fast IDE controller.


Includes main accelerator board, heatsinks and 30mm fan.


    The TF1230 designed by Stephen Leary (TerribleFire), features a Motorola MC68030 CPU running at 50Mhz, 64MB Fast RAM and 2.5" IDE interface for HDD or CF/SD cards. 


    These units have been extensively tested on A1200 Rev 1B and 2B, but it should be compatible with any A1200 board revision. Does not require any fixes on your A1200 motherboard.


    Please notice the TF1230 requires Kickstart 3.1 or higher for the fast RAM to be recognized automatically. Internal A1200 IDE port will work as usual. The integrated fast IDE port on the TF1230 requires EIDE driver to be installed. 


    Includes both CPU and CPLD heatsinks. A 30mm fan is also included although is perfectly fine to run with passive cooling only.

    Attention! To be able to boot from the integrated fast IDE port you need a modified Kickstart ROM




    In order to get a replacement or refund defective units must first be returned. Once the item has been inspected we will proceed to replace the unit or refund the payment. Items that have been damaged by careless/unadecuated use or modifyied by the buyer in any way will not be elegible for replace or refund of any kind. 


    The unit ships with the lastest stable firmware available. Notice that if you accidentally brick the unit by wrongly updating/downgrading the firmware, we do not give tech support for the reflashing process. If you want to keep your board under warranty you should send it back to us for review/reflashing.
