Unique and exceptionally rare collector’s set comprising a Timex FDD-3000 (year 1984) floppy disk drive paired with a Timex Computer TC-2048 (year 1984), both fully operational.
The FDD-3000 has been refurbished. One of the original floppy drives was faulty and has been replaced with a FlashFloppy emulator, enabling disk image loading from an SD card. The second 3-inch drive (located on right bay) is fully functional. The top case has been repainted, while the bottom case shows expected signs of age and use. The original, non-working floppy drive is also included for buyers who may wish to attempt repair. The computer interface reproduction of the original, assembled by us and functioning identically to the original unit.
The TC-2048 has been inspected and refurbished, fitted with a new faceplate, and is in good overall condition with no deep scratches.
Of course, all is tested and working. Our knowledge of the FDD-3000 operative system is very limited but as far as we can tell all works as it should.
