MiSTress 600 I/O Board

The I/O board is designed to be installed inside an Amiga A600 case and use the original A600 keyboard as the input device. The keyboard LEDs can also work as activity indicators, depending on the core being used.

The integrated keyboard controller is compatible with the QMK configurator, allowing you to customize the keyboard layout with virtually unlimited layers, keymaps and macros (programming knowledge required). The default keyboard firmware provides shortcuts for the most common MiSTer functions and also gives access to a virtual numeric keypad.

The board comes with 3D-printed supports for mounting it inside the A600 case. No case modifications are required. It also features a mounting assembly for an internal 2.5" SSD/HDD.

External connections on the back of the A600 case include HDMI, power jack, analog VGA/RGB, SD card, 3x USB, audio, two DB9 joystick ports compatible with SEGA Megadrive controllers, user I/O port (USB 3) and Ethernet. A mechanical ON/OFF switch is also included.

Internal connections include 2x USB, A600 keyboard membrane connector, secondary SD card and fan header.

The kit includes a cooling fan and fan assembly, HDMI extender, USB hub cable, Ethernet pass-through cable, internal power jack cable, back panel cover, and all required mounting screws, washers and nuts.

Please note: Atari, C64 or Amiga 1/2-button joysticks that require +5V for turbo/autofire functionality will not work on the DB9 ports.

We recommend the use of high quality power supply, ideally 4 amps output, and high quality SD cards.

In order to get a replacement or refund defective units must first be returned. Once the item has been inspected we will proceed to replace the unit or refund the payment. Items that have been damaged by careless/unadecuated use or modified by the buyer in any way will not be elegible for replace or refund of any kind.
