Unlike normal PCI or PCI Express cards, this uses a proprietary ASUS MIO (Module I/O) interface pin-out along the bottom edge. It was specifically engineered to add dedicated, noise-isolated multi-channel audio capabilities to specialized ASUS workstations and server motherboards.
