Silicon Image Orion ADD2-N Dual Pad x16 DVI expansion card for compatible Intel-based motherboards.
This is an ADD2/SDVO graphics adapter that uses the motherboard's integrated Intel graphics controller to provide a digital DVI output. It does not have its own GPU or video memory.
Compatible with a range of Intel chipsets supporting ADD2/SDVO, including 915G, 945G, 946GZ, G965, Q965, G31, G33, G35, G41, G43, G45 and related chipsets.
The 915G is the original/primary target for the Silicon Image reference design; later Intel generations are known to work with compatible implementations, but I would avoid claiming universal compatibility across every motherboard using those chipsets.
Important: This is not a standalone PCIe graphics card. It requires a compatible motherboard with integrated Intel graphics and ADD2/SDVO support. A PCIe x16 slot alone is not sufficient.
